This research has been conducted to identify the ways to reinforce the role of Television to prevent from committing the crime in Bandar-e Abbas and answer this question: how television can be effective in preventing from committing the crime in the city. To answer that, Delphi method was applied in two stages to collect and analyze the data. The Delphi panel consisted of 42 experts in Law, Sociology, and Communication from Hormozgan province who were selected through purposive sampling. According to the findings, while the experts evaluated ‘economic and living problems’, ‘socio-cultural poverty’ and ‘staying of Bandar-e Abbas on the transitway of the smuggled goods and alcoholic drinks’ as the most important reasons for the occurrence of criminal behaviors in Bandar-e Abbas, based on them, ‘improving the quality of the programs to decrease the people’s tendency to use satellite programs’ ‘informing about the rules and regulations to increase the legal information of people’ and ‘producing social and ethical informative animations for children and teenagers’ were the most important solutions to prevent from violent crimes in Bandar-e Abbas using Television.
